Dive Team

Welcome to the 2012 Meadows Dive Team! We are pleased to announce that Stacey Weizeorick and Ashley Weizeorick will be our coaches again this season. Stacey dived for the Meadows for 6 years and has coached for three seasons. Ashley has dived for the Meadows since the 2000 season. She also competes for Naperville North during the school year. They are both very excited for the 2012 season.

Registration

Team Fees

$100 per team member (with a maximum of $300 per family). The fee is due May 10, or at walk-in registration at The Meadows on May 19 from 9:30 am - 12 noon.

Practices

Evening practice times will begin on Tuesday, June1. We will have practice from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Come for a half–hour or the entire hour. Our regular practice times will begin on Monday, June 7th. Session 1 will be from 9:30am to 10:15am and Session 2 will be from 10:15am to 11:00am. Please attend the practice that fits best with your schedule.

Lessons

Dive Lessons are open to children 7 & older, provided they have basic swimming skills. We will only run dive lessons if there is adequate interest. Complete and return registration Dive & Swim Lessons 2012

Dive Meets

All of our meets have been scheduled for Tuesday evenings. If we have a large number of individuals on both swim team and dive team, we will try to reschedule some of the meets. Warm–ups for evening home meets for our team will be from 5:00–5:20. The meet will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. The times for away meets will be announced prior to each meet. For Saturday home meets, our warm–up will begin at 8:00am. The meet will begin at 9am.

Dive Conference

Dive conference is on Sunday, July 18th this year. It is NOT the same day as swim conference.

Volunteers

Volunteers run all home dual meets. Since the meet days are still subject to change, we will be emailing you before these meets looking for volunteers. Please remember, we all need to pitch in to make our meets run smoothly.

Awards Night

Our awards night is scheduled for Sunday, July 18th at 6 pm.
