Summer Swim Team

It’s time for swim team registration!

Welcome back returning swimmers and welcome new swimmers; get ready for a fun–filled summer of fast swimming! The team is open to members ages 6 to 18 who want to participate in competitive swimming. If your child needs to learn how to swim, please register him or her for swimming lessons and/or Junior Swim team (ages 5-12) this summer. To join swim team, a swimmer should be able to complete one length of the pool (25 meters) and know how to swim two of the four competitive strokes.

Team Fees

$100 per team member (with a maximum of $300 per family). The fee is due May 10, or at walk-in registration at The Meadows on May 19 from 9:30 am - 12 noon. No refunds may be made for withdrawing swimmers after the first meet.

Swim Team Stroke and Turn Clinic

Clinics will be instructed by the Meadows Swim Coaches and are intended for those wishing to refine their competitive skills working on all four strokes and getting extra practice on turns and starts. Please choose either a Tuesday or Thursday clinic date. No make–up dates are available for classes missed. One six week clinic is $40, two six-week clinics are $75.

Practice Schedule

Practices will begin May 29 after school from 4-5pm for swimmers 10 and under, and 5-6pm for swimmers 11 & up. Regular morning practices will begin June 6. The practices will be 8:15-9:15am and 9:15 to 10:15am.

Swim Suits

We will be using The Swim Team Store at 75th and Naper Blvd. in the Market Meadows Plaza for our team suits this summer. The team suit is Laser Blast by Speedo, which is the same suit this summer as last year. The suit is pictured here; our colors are white & blue. The costs are:
Youth F: 52.00
Adult F: 55.00
Youth & Adult Jammer: 30.00
